Our core services include:

•  Chartered Psychologist Assessment (with full report)  

This assessment can identify a range of difficulties (most commonly dyslexia, dyscalculia and/or dyspraxic type difficulties).

Most of the adults and children we see will have a specific learning difficulty; however, some individuals may have  no ‘formally’ recognised difficulty, and the focus is then to help the person move forwards confidently, and to make progress.

The majority of assessments take between 2 to 3 hours, and are carried out at our Newark office (or at another venue to suit). Preliminary verbal feedback is given on the day, and then a full written report with recommendations will follow.

All reports meet the requirements of JCQ (Form 8 applications) and DSA applications, and assessments are carried out by fully Chartered & HCPC registered Educational or Occupational Psychologists.

Post-Assessment Options:

After the report is received you may wish to have a post-assessment consultation with a specialist teacher, so that a targeted individual Learning Plan can be drawn up.

For employees, there is the option of having a work-based consultation. This specialist service is designed to help a person to move forward in their specific role.

• Tuition

Specialist dyslexia tuition can be arranged at locations in Derby, Newark, Leicester and Grantham (or elsewhere). We can also work in schools/colleges. The tuition will be based upon the Learning Plan drawn up after an assessment.

• Coaching

Some adults take advantage of the Coaching that we offer.

An individualised Coaching Plan is drawn up that is based on assessment findings and/or the workplace consultation.
